About Cold Weather Shelter Program

Year-round, EHC LifeBuilders offers emergency shelter at the Boccardo Reception Center. From the Monday after Thanksgiving through the end of March, we open two additional sites at the National Guard Armories in Sunnyvale and Gilroy. These seasonal nightly shelters, open during the cold weather months, serve as a refuge from harsh winter weather conditions for homeless men, women, and families. All three Shelter Outreach Centers offer connections to the One-Stop Homeless Prevention Center at the Boccardo Reception Center, which provides clients with a variety of supportive services designed to help them secure permanent housing.
