About Boccardo Family Living Center
The Boccardo Family Living Center is one of the few housing programs in South County that accepts migrant families and two parent families, allowing families to stay together as they search for housing and work to become self-sufficient. The Center operates year-round, serves 26 families with children at a given time, and is designed to provide a safe and supportive environment for homeless families as they work to achieve stability.

Migrant Farm Worker Housing
The Migrant Farm Worker Program is for migrant farm workers with minor children and operates from May through November. Families reside in eight private apartments with bathrooms and kitchens. All clients have access to an array of workshops, activities and assistance in locating permanent housing.
Emergency Housing ProgramWhen the Migrant Farm Worker Program is not in operation the apartments are set aside for family emergency shelter from December through March. The apartments provide critical and often lifesaving housing to homeless families in South County.
Transitional HousingThe Transitional Housing Program offers seventeen private apartments with bathrooms and kitchens to homeless and low income families with minor children. Participants work with case managers to develop individualized plans so they become self sufficient over the long-term. All participants have access to an array of workshops, activities and assistance in locating permanent housing. Families are eligible to stay in the program for 9 months up to a year.
Hours of operation
The administrative offices at the Center are open Monday - Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
