Permanent Housing Programs
The following programs offer supportive housing or service-enriched housing:
Markham Terrace
Serves: Single adults
Location: 2112 Monterey Road, San Jose
This former motel offers single resident occupancy units for single
adults. Rents are subsidized through the Housing Authority of the
County of Santa Clara. Markham Terrace offers on-site supportive services
including case management and meal service. Housing is available as long
as tenancy and eligibility requirements are met.
Sobrato Family Living Center
Serves: Families with children
Location: 1509 Agnew Road, Santa Clara
This facility provides individualized case management, life skills workshops,
basic needs assistance, tutoring for children, clinical counseling, and other
supportive services. Participants may stay for up to five years.
Transitional housing is also offered at this site.
Housing for Homeless Addicted to Alcohol (HHAA)
Serves: Chronically homeless individuals addicted to alcohol
Locations: Individual rental units throughout Santa Clara County
This rapid re-housing program helps participants find and secure permanent housing in
rental units throughout Santa Clara County and offers individualized case management,
counseling and access to other supportive services.
