Advocacy at EHC LifeBuilders
At EHC LifeBuilders — our ability to help our clients — and our clients’ abilities to help themselves — is affected by the system in which we operate. We support public policy initiatives that dedicate more resources to ending homelessness. That means asking our elected officials — and the voting public — to make ending homelessness a priority.
How You Can Help
Elected officials take action on an issue when they know it is a priority for their constituents. You can send letters to your elected officials on each of EHC LifeBuilders’ priority campaigns.
It’s also important to educate your friends and neighbors about the issue of homelessness. There are lots of ways to do this:
- Send letters to the editor of your local newspaper. Find out where to send your letter.
- Invite an EHC LifeBuilders speaker to come talk to your neighborhood association, church group, service club, or other organization about homelessness in your community.
