Pizarro: Sweet Retreat
By Sal Pizarro, San Jose Mercury News, April 11, 2010
The 14th annual Rivers of Chocolate Festival is coming up April 25 at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga. If you haven't been, it's like a visit to Willy Wonka's factory, with Bay Area restaurants putting out their chocolaty best. And if you don't have much of a sweet tooth, there's a lot of wine tasting to do, too. Proceeds from the 1 to 5 p.m. event support EHC LifeBuilders, which provides homeless shelter and services in Silicon Valley. Tickets are $95 (with a $10 discount for police officers, firefighters and teachers). For details, go to www.riversofchocolate.org.
