From the Monday after Thanksgiving through the end of March, we open two additional sites at the National Guard Armories in Sunnyvale and Gilroy and continue year-round operation of the BRC Shelter.
These seasonal nightly shelters, open during the cold weather months, serve as a refuge from harsh winter weather conditions for homeless men, women, and families. All three Shelter Outreach Centers offer connections to the One-Stop Homeless Prevention Center at the Boccardo Reception Center, which provides clients with a variety of supportive services designed to help them secure permanent housing.
