EHC LifeBuilders has a variety of volunteer opportunities for groups. You can also check out our individual volunteer opportunities. To volunteer as an individual, fill out our enrollment form today. The following is a list of current opportunities:
Drive coordinator
In your neighborhood, church, workplace, school, or other organization, you can coordinate a donation drive for EHC LifeBuilders. The following is a sample list of supplies that may be collected:
- Personal hygiene products
- Bedding
- Towels
- Cleaning materials
- Baby diapers
- Non-perishable foods
- Paper goods
Food service
Volunteers may work in our full-service kitchen to assist with one of three daily meals. Assistance is needed in all aspects of the meal, from set up to preparation to serving to clean up. Groups are also invited to host a meal. Volunteers interested in hosting meals will be put in touch with the General Manager of Food Services to discuss needs and appropriate menus.
Holiday/Seasonal assistance
During the holiday season, volunteers are welcome to throw parties for our guests, collect or give donations, festively decorate the facility, adopt a family, or otherwise create a festive atmosphere for our guests.
Repair and maintenance
We are always in need of small and large maintenance help from volunteers. Tasks include:
- Cleaning out and organizing closets and storage places
- Landscaping
- Painting
- Minor repairs
- Facility cleaning
Special Events
Volunteers may assist with special events put on by EHC LifeBuilders. Your skills and resources can be used for planning, fundraising, networking, promotion, research, and other such jobs. Also, volunteers may be needed to assist on the day of special events.
