A passionate educator is needed to improve the lives of our Spanish speaking residents by teaching them the English language skills necessary for sustained self sufficiency.

Required Skills

• Basic or advanced English skills
• Passionate about the power of education
• Willing to teach both literate and pre-literate students
• Capable of making a six month commitment
• Committed, dependable, and punctual
• Flexible, patient and willing to learn
• A good listener

Commitment

• Teach class Monday’s 4:30-5:30 pm
• Develop and implement an ESL lesson plans
• Provide encouragement and help to motivate students
