While every one of us has been impacted by the economic downturn, some residents lack the support system to endure the loss of a job or reduced retirement funds. Many who request our services are homeless for the first time – young veterans, senior citizens, youth aging out of the foster care system, and working families who never dreamed the threat of homelessness could affect them.
Every dollar you give is an investment in our community and will help people regain stability and achieve self-sufficiency.
You can give in so many ways, including:
- Cash gifts — you may donate online today!
- Memorial and honorary gifts
- Gifts of stock
- Matching gifts/employee giving
- Planned gifts
- LifeBuilder Circle
For more information about any of these ways to give or for more assistance in setting up your gift, contact our Development Department at 408-539-2103.

Honorees receive a letter acknowledging the honor and who made the gift without gift amounts mentioned. Donors will receive a tax acknowledgement.
To make a gift in memory or honor of someone, check the Memorial or Honorary Gifts box when you donate online. Click here for the Memorial of Honorary Gift Form. Please print it, complete it, and return it with your gift.
Gifts of Appreciated Stock
Making a gift of securities is a great way to support EHC LifeBuilders. Giving stock that you have held for more than one year is an excellent way to make a “cashless” gift, avoid capital gains tax and receive a tax deduction. You can use the stock’s fair market value (the value of the high and low price the day we receive it) as your charitable deduction, up to 30% of your adjusted gross income.
Please contact the Development Department by email or by telephone at 408-539-2103 or email for the latest stock transfer directions.
