This year, the NBC11 Festival For Independence benefiting EHC LifeBuilders will need more than 400 volunteers to help make this ever growing and exciting festival possible. Each year, this event draws over 50,000 attendees. Volunteers are a key factor in making the 15th Annual NBC11 Festival For Independence benefiting EHC LifeBuilders a success.

Assistance is needed with set-up, ticket sales, Kidland, the entertainment stages and in beverage and information booths. Volunteers who work a full shift will receive an Festival for Independence T-shirt (size XL), beverage tickets, and a chance to win prizes donated by local businesses. In addition, you will enjoy a fun day outdoors meeting a diverse group of people, while contributing to your community.

In the past, the NBC11 Festival For Independence benefiting EHC LifeBuilders was given the Award of Excellence by the California Parks and Recreation Society. The event was recognized for outstanding work in event design, unique and innovative programming, volunteer coordination, positive community impact and multicultural awareness. All event proceeds go towards EHC LifeBuilders programs ending homelessness in Santa Clara County. We value your participation and look forward to your involvement in this year's festivities.
