Position: Shuttle Driver
Location: Boccardo Reception Center (BRC)
Supervisor: Program Manager

Duties and responsibilities:

• Operates 15+ passenger van.
• Delivers clients to preset destinations according to a schedule.
• Keeps records, program documentation, and maintenance log for vehicle and supplies.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
• Provides transportation for guests and employees as needed.
• Helps maintain and keep shuttle clean and operational.
• Notifies Supervisor and Maintenance of vehicle repairs or servicing needs.
• Helps maintain front desk and phones when not driving.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Valid California class B driver's license with authorization for 15 or more passengers.
• Safe driving record (at a minimum, must have no more than two minor traffic violations in the past three years).
• Ability to follow directions, read maps, and familiarity with Santa Clara County.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Understanding and concern for the issue of homelessness.
• Ability to work with people of diverse social background and professional rank.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Current first aid certificate.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.
