EHC LifeBuilders Strategic Plan 2010-2013

Overview

Our community has made great strides in preventing and ending homelessness over the years. For over 30 years, EHC LifeBuilders (EHC) has played a critical role in this effort. But there is still much work to do. Each night in Santa Clara County, over 7,000 are homeless and each year, over 12,000 experience an episode of homelessness.

Ending homelessness is within our grasp. EHC believes that there are two key strategies in ending homelessness- providing housing stability and improving self-sufficiency.

Our 2010-2013 Strategic Plan provides a clear roadmap for implementing these strategies across our programs and activities.

To achieve our vision and mission, we will focus on the following key areas:

  • Community- how EHC will engage with the communities we serve
  • Customer-  how EHC will be present for and serve our customers
  • Financial- how EHC will meet its financial objectives
  • Internal Processes- how EHC will excel at its business processes
  • Learning and Growth- how we will change and improve

We believe that by focusing on these key areas, our long term impact will be to:

  • Increase the housing stability and self-sufficiency of those who are homeless or at-risk of becoming homeless.
  • Strengthen collaborations and partnerships to leverage community resources to end homelessness.

AT EHC, we have tremendous passion for the work we do and believe that everyone in our community deserves a home. By working together, we can make the vision of ending homelessness a reality.
